“I am an advocate for preserving open space and maintaining the assets of Homer Glen; the opulence of Homer Glen is its environment and natural biomes. Additionally, I am a supporter of sustaining farmland as well as historical integrity. I was actively involved in the 2022-2023 Will County Parker Hadley Road Expansion opposition, in which I, along with neighbors and community members, gathered to ask the Township, Village, and County to halt the project. I was also involved in the 143rd Street Expansion opposition and vocalized the need for clearer language and communication. This is why I established “Parker Hadley Preservation” in 2023 because there was a need to keep residents and stakeholders informed about local projects that would affect their homes and livelihoods.
